Our Team
He graduated from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Finance and Business Economics, earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Georgetown University, and earned his Juris Doctorate (JD) from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.
Prior to starting the law firm in 2015, Joe was a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional and he continues to practice in the areas of financial planning and asset management as the owner and operator of a Registered Investment Advisory firm. This background helps to complement estate planning and successions for clients.
Joe is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is a member of the 22nd JDC Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Financial Planning Association. He resides in Madisonville, LA with his wife, Laura Heintz Prisco, and three boys. When away from the office, Joe enjoys time on the soccer field, the festive nature of South Louisiana including Mardi Gras, and a sauna on a cold day.
Prior to joining Equitable Advocacy, LLC, Jen was an attorney for the federal government for 13 years and taught various Criminal Justice and Paralegal Studies courses at Northshore Technical Community College in Lacombe, LA.
Jen is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and is a member of the 22nd JDC Bar Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. She resides in Covington with her husband and three children (and various felines). When away from the office, Jen loves to watch her kids play soccer/cheer/volleyball and listen to them play the piano and violin.
